PeterL: thimbronion: apparently you can't give the knobs a non-integer?
PeterL: thimbronion: when I tried to restart, I got this error , I don't know if it is related?
PeterL: I'm gonna try loading an older version of the DB, maybe will fix it?
thimbronion: Hey peterl it looks like for some reason in your db sqlite isn't storing fractions of a second
thimbronion: One fix soule be to wrap that line in a try catch and try parse it without the .%f if the first method fails
thimbronion: Oh interesting, my blatta has crashed with the same error.
PeterL: is there a reason it would crash with version 9979 and not with 9980?
thimbronion: Yes in 9979 there are some changes to how dates are stored in the db
PeterL: OK, I will see if I can fugure that one out
thimbronion: Alternatively maybe there's a way to make that part of the regex optional

whaack: signpost: saw your msg in pestnet, problem is i have not updated my code, will do so in the near future
whaack: atm i'm trying to figure out how to host 2 flask apps on 1 server with apache
whaack: has anyone done this already?
signpost: cool, just wanted to keep mentioning observations.
signpost: whaack: your options would be giving them distinct path prefixes, hostnames, ports, or IP addresses
signpost: or combining them at the flask routing level in python
signpost: (there are others, but those are the ones that'd be straightforward
signpost: path is nice since it doesn't put another dependency on DNSism, but the app needs to be able to handle running at /appname/thing/3/asdf vs /thing/3/asdf
signpost: port's hanky because people expect http responses on 80.
whaack: signpost: i was hopping to have two subdomains, explorer.ztkfg.com and vhopper.ztkfg.com, that route to different flask app's via apache
whaack: I setup 2 VirtualHosts in VirtualHost.conf file, but it seems that WSGIPythonPath decides which app gets run, and i can only set that variable once afaik
signpost: comfortable pasting the config?
signpost: can always erase chunks first
whaack: sent via dm
signpost: iirc pythonpath is the module-wide "where to look for libs" var
whaack: problem with this config is atm vhopper.ztkfg.com also goes to explorer.ztkfg.com
signpost: might neeed to toggle this instead inside the VirtualHost blocks https://modwsgi.readthedocs.io/en/develop/configuration-directives/WSGIPythonHome.html
signpost: hm nope
signpost: been a while since I configured one of these, apparently
whaack: maybe i need to configure which app is run in a .wsgi file
whaack: signpost: think i found my problem...
signpost: cool, sorry I wasn't more help. last time I did this was on nginx.
whaack: signpost: my original VirtualHost.conf was correct. The problem was I ran into a namespace issue, both of my flask applications were named webserver.py
whaack: so the WSGIPythonPath correctly sets the python path to include the folders containing both apps (using the ":"), and vhopper's vhopper.wsgi file was correctly being ran (and distinguished via the two VirtualHost's in apache), however both explorer.wsgi and vhopper.wsgi had the line "from webserver import app as application" , so whichever 'webserver.py' was added first to the python path was
whaack: being used
signpost: ah yeah, that makes sense
signpost: module name was not unique
signpost: cool, glad ya got it worked out
