thimbronion: When I first got it working, it would stay connected for days. Haven't changed anything.
whaack: hrm maybe you are somehow getting kicked off of freenode and then throwing an error when you try to write to a socket that has been closed by the remote server
whaack: possibly you were banned from connecting you rbot many times. You could try connecting to a server other than freenode
