whaack: thimbronion: this is to prevent overcharging, I assume? Would it be smart for a device to stop charging the battery at full charge, and let the battery drain, then recharge, if somehow it knew you were going to be plugged in all day?
thimbronion: whaack: Yes I think so wrt overcharging. I don't know if it would be smart or not - but I've observed that my Yeti 1400 backup power battery cycles between 100% and 80% while plugged in.
