busybot[asciilifeform]: The 24-Hour VWAP for BTC is $ 40635.72 USD
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: anyone tried LispWorks?
shinohai[asciilifeform|billymg]: Never tried myself (though I'm not much of an IDE person)
shinohai[asciilifeform|billymg] is content with vim + slimv
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: Been thoroghly enjoying PyCharm.
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: Makes debugging multiple processes much easier
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: I suspect LispWorks will also be good at that
shinohai[asciilifeform|billymg]: Do let us know if any good, it might improve/motivate me to do more w/ lisp.
shinohai[asciilifeform|billymg]: esthlos-v could use a bit of polish
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: Costs $750 for the hobbyist version (non-commercial use)
billymg: i've never tried a full IDE but i do like the "almost IDEs" such as sublime text and vscode
billymg: these last few days i've been using NERDTree / VIM as my main editor because i haven't yet figured out how to get sublime or vscode running on musl
billymg: it's nice, just somewhat of a learning curve coming from the graphical text editors
billymg: been learning how to use pandas and matplotlib as well. charts coming soon to the crawler www
billymg: !c net-summary

billymg[asciilifeform]: TRB needs more diversity, all in the US!
jonsykkel[asciilifeform|billymg]: tehres one in norway so trb will survive when u guyz get nuked
jonsykkel[asciilifeform|billymg]: not sure why dosnt show up
jonsykkel[asciilifeform|billymg]: i guess crawler still has old ip, since not static
billymg: jonsykkel: the norway node used to be there, went missing recently
bitbot: Logged on 2022-03-15 17:17:50 crawlerbot[billymg]: 85.167.102.77 (Busy? (No answer in 15 sec.)), h=508201, v=99999, Norway - peers: None - last probed: 34m ago

jonsykkel[asciilifeform|billymg]: indeed, 85.164.243.42 is new ip since 5days ago
billymg: ahh
billymg: yeah, doesn't have yet
billymg: 5 days oughta be enough. it also hasn't discovered whaack's new node yet. i should look into this
billymg: it discovers new nodes all the time, not sure why it isn't picking up these
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: Ordered lispworks. We'll see how it goes.
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: ah interesting, looks like phf was a user
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: http://logs.nosuchlabs.com/log/trilema/2016-09-16#1543046 << wonder how he would know anything about lisp performance?
asciilifeform briefly tried lispworks, was not terribly impressed
busybot[asciilifeform]: Current BTC price in USD: $41569.22
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: With lisp, might start from the other end and model fork detection
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: Dunno how heretical this is but "would be cool" to encrypt a preconfigured pestron w/UI and air drop to whomever.
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: project code name "BIMBOSTATION"
jonsykkel[asciilifeform|billymg]: solution for comms with old/incompetent ppl, insert cd to launch chat
jonsykkel[asciilifeform|billymg]: maybe this is puzle piece required to nuke pnoje from life forever
asciilifeform: awt: would work, wainot, so long as the included wot has 1 or moar peers w/ static ip etc
asciilifeform: if the user hasn't writable storage, tho, will only work until reboot
asciilifeform: ( no rekeys, no selfchain, etc then )
awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: I would do it with lappies
signpost[asciilifeform]: awt: amusing thing there is the telegram guy's last claim to fame was getting vkontakte repo'd by fsb
signpost[asciilifeform]: sounds like had something to do with them not censoring badbits for brazil fast enough
awt[asciilifeform|billymg] only recently learned the guy had been part of vkontakte and was ukr (i think)
signpost[asciilifeform]: https://t.me/durov/179 << yeah sounds like in part.
