BusyBot: The 24-Hour VWAP for BTC is $ 10615.84 USD
thimbronion: trinque: lekythion's index has been rebuilt and includes a 1 level deep index of the btcbase logs, as well as an index of the logs themselves. I've made a backup of the index in case it disappears again.
asciilifeform: thimbronion: wainot simply grab the db from asciilifeform's (or other folx, their #t chronology oughta be identical) logger ?
thimbronion: asciilifeform: given that phf is incommunicado, this is probably the best option.
asciilifeform: thimbronion: see readme (of asciilifeform's logger) re db schema. it's as simple as it could be imho.
asciilifeform: thimbronion: alternatively, can use the .txt dumps from phf's www. but may have to fiddle w/ encoding.
thimbronion: asciilifeform: also, just indexed the site initially because it was easier, and I wanted to see if the results were interesting. I'd say they are. For ex. my search for Junger turned up this article: http://www.jameslafond.com/article.php?id=2601&pr=0
asciilifeform: fair'nuff
asciilifeform: problem w/ blind indexing of htmlade is that e.g. search url's get processed as if pages, and skew counts (supposing you use freq. counts in fact for anyffin)
thimbronion: asciilifeform: no frequency counting currently. Easy enough to ignore search urls though.
asciilifeform: a.
thimbronion: fwiw the index is currengly a few mb shy of 1GB.
asciilifeform: thimbronion: for whole orchestra? or just irc logs ?
thimbronion: asciilifeform: irc logs + blogs (including Trilema)
asciilifeform: thimbronion: the actual text weighs maybe 100MB ftr.
asciilifeform: so imho worth the while to use raw logs .
