superkuh: 10k is good but I kind of wish it'd settle back around 9K so I'd have excuses to "It's over 9000!" every now and then.
adlai: http://logs.nosuchlabs.com/log/asciilifeform/2020-09-03#1021003 << dunno what sort of 'decision' you expect! you seem qualified enough, as far as writing legible english prose goes; although I must remark, your phrasing sometimes makes me wonder whether you ever ~speak~ the damn thing, in addition to only reading and writing.
snsabot: Logged on 2020-09-03 12:35:12 verisimilitude: So when can any expect a decision regarding that, adlai?
adlai: http://logs.nosuchlabs.com/log/asciilifeform/2020-09-03#1021103 << this is why I am in no hurry; I do not expect that anyone "starving" is looking for bitcoin-denominated work, especially not of the sort that I offered.
snsabot: Logged on 2020-09-03 20:46:29 verisimilitude: I'm not starving, and I'm not much of an artist.
adlai does not require, fwiw, that verisimilitude use 'git'; any reasonable patch format suffices, as long as figuring out how to apply it to my copy of the code doesn't break my will to compensate the sender.
adlai: if you need me to make available a plain git-free tarball, I can do this.
adlai: probably a good idea to sign + encrypt the patch, along with the address(es) to which you'd want payment
adlai: arguably, the justification that I settled upon, while convincing myself to offer this bounty, is something along the lines of "pay someone to be psychologist to the code that I wrote", something that is quite impossible for 'man alone' to do to his own shitball.
adlai: meanwhile, in random lulz, nearest new supermarket has little cards on a few of the shelves with slogans along the lines of "tired of aunts pestering you at holiday dinners, asking when you'll get married? support another lockdown!"
