asciilifeform finds it odd that there's (afaik) no folx making custom-tailored kbd for individual measurements. when you get a suit, or prosthetic foot, or eyeglasses, it is ordinarily expected that it'll be cut to fit you. but for some odd reason not kbd.

shinohai: Best "modern" mechanical kbd I've found so far was unknown brand I found called "Redragon" ... been using the thing for 2 yrs now, handily cleans up in dishwasher nicely.
asciilifeform: shinohai: i've thrown out, with disgust, erry 'modern' type bought so far -- they all eventually develop 'bounce' (contacts fatigue.) and none have left-side function keys, which i actually use, to avoid contortions

BingoBoingo: Being displayed for sale at Tienda Inglesa isn't necessarily a damnation. Very good things and very awful things are sold there side by side. Does suggest the brand isn't entirely unknown.
shinohai: I think it's an item more known amongst the pc-gamer populace. I bought simply for size and has backlit keys to make typing @ night much easier.
