phf: so i was inspired by tmsr in 2014 to send out my gpg pubkey to a bunch of services that i use. most places simply ignored it, but today it paid off with the epic uptime machine. all i had to do was to point at an old email, pubkey in /root/ and send a signed request for a ssh pubkey replacement to recover a machine in barely amount of time it took to send three emails

phf: on the other hand, things that suck. mbp trackpads don't work for shit anywhere outside of san francisco ACed offices
phf: in a mildly humid climate, outside, but under a fan, my cursor starts jumping all over the place, doing left and right clicks at will. wtf.
phf: in yet other tmsr vs rest of world. things that i built with the correct mindset work perfectly on a dodgy cell connection in the middle of nowhere. not so much VC produced monstrosities. so much for "bitcoin in africa"
phf: fwiw, i also opted out of a travel gpg key, because i realized my infrastructure is not sufficiently developed to support that mode. i have a hopefully reasonable alternative that i'm relying on, but rather not explain till i come back

jurov: the address to reset account?
shinohai: nah the withdraw address. I had 14iD6wJY4DFaaDnEkcjd66JWe3dabU2Fv7
shinohai: (Because I always use new addy)
jurov: ie. you forgot the address for your most recent withdrawal?
jurov: that one is 14iD6wJY4DFaaDnEkcjd66JWe3dabU2Fv7, yes (not done the withdrawal yet)
shinohai: Ah gotcha .... my mistake then.
shinohai: I'm in no particular rush, just wondering why he gave me that tx id
jurov: because i'm not doing small withdrawals directly from mpex?
