asciilifeform: fwiw i used his sh script to build, on several boxes (all 'dulap-gentoo' however)
asciilifeform always despised autoconf, and not only for the elephantine config -- which dwarfs some of the common proggies that use it -- but for the derisively useless eggogs, 'requires gnat to build' but not says how decided gnat aint in place etc
