awt[asciilifeform]: signpost: yes, should be possible to connect via port forwarding and yes it should be able to handle multiple client connections - haven't yet tested though.

awt[asciilifeform]: shouldn't be a big deal to add in an option to connect to a remote station, but yes, may not be in the initial release.
