asciilifeform: shinohai: test
shinohai[asciilifeform]: asciilifeform: ack work \o/
whaack[billymg|asciilifeform]: mod6: I'm around today if you want to try to figure out our peering problem
whaack[asciilifeform]: PeterL: Do you copy?
whaack[asciilifeform|billymg]: nice, did not know you were in here, let's peer
PeterL[asciilifeform|billymg]: sure, gpg me a key?
whaack[asciilifeform]: in other news, i've been working on cleaning up my block explorer, i hope to have a vpatch out by the end of the month, but it may come as late as the end of February
PeterL[asciilifeform|billymg]: whaack: I added you as a peer and at, but I am still seeing "no packets received"?
shinohai[asciilifeform]: whaack: Great news, look forward to reading more about trb explorer.
whaack[billymg|asciilifeform]: peterl: goddamn, mod6 had the same problem, i have nfi what's going on, shinohai managed to peer with me
whaack[billymg|asciilifeform]: PeterL: how about now?
whaack[asciilifeform]: i forgot to actually associate the key i sent you to the handle
PeterL[asciilifeform]: lol, that could be a problem
whaack[billymg]: still no dice apparently
whaack[asciilifeform|billymg]: in other weird, when i run /at it says no packets received from shinohai/asciilifeform, but i see their messages directly and i also get hearsay messages from them
asciilifeform: whaack: which pestron are you running atm?
shinohai[asciilifeform|billymg]: same here, "no packets received" almost always
asciilifeform: (in blatta 9983, at is broken)
PeterL[asciilifeform]: I thought I saw the other day at needs to lose an if somewhere?
shinohai[asciilifeform]: oh wait i forgot I patched, now see packets for erryoneEXCEPT billymg
asciilifeform: it does, but this aint in awt's vtree yet
billymg: shinohai: we gotta try repeering
asciilifeform: (and as shinohai said, evidently doesn't fully cure)
PeterL[asciilifeform]: shinohai: thanks
whaack[asciilifeform|billymg]: asciilifeform: 9983
whaack[asciilifeform]: awt: i don't quite understand why there is a table 'wot' that just has id numbers, can't this be removed and we just always use the handles table?
whaack[billymg|asciilifeform]: atm my wot has 9 rows, and my handles table only has 8 rows, not sure if that is a problem
asciilifeform: whaack: see spec; a peer may have >1 handle
asciilifeform: one oughtn't to be able to have a peer w/ 0 handles tho (how wouldja even get there?)
whaack[billymg]: asciilifeform: ah okay ty
whaack[asciilifeform|billymg]: awt: found the bug, i tried to add a handle that already existed, and the command failed, but another row got added to my wot table
whaack[asciilifeform]: peterl: this is potentially the reason why we cannot peer
PeterL[asciilifeform|billymg]: aha, can you remove it manually using sqlite3?
whaack[billymg|asciilifeform]: peterl: i did, but i don't think that was the bug in the end, don't see how deleting those rows could have helped

awt[asciilifeform|billymg]: asciilifeform: noted
