crtdaydreams: they're worried about IP rights (understandably) and want evidence that it is infact okay to RE the chip

crtdaydreams: they've also indicated that with the surrounding packaging, imaging may be quite blurry

crtdaydreams: the only way to get a decent image this way would be removing the wafer from the packaging and imaging that alone I suspect

crtdaydreams: even then, stitching the regions of each layer back together then lining all the layers together again may be impossible with this equipment

crtdaydreams: I've been pointed in the direction of another facility that has a newer machine with better resolution though so fingers crossed
