verisimilitude: I've decided to purchase a BAT keyboard soon, and to simply see how I like its default layout, even though `e'' requires three fingers.
verisimilitude: Even then, it will probably still be an improvement over a keyboard, and I could always learn a new layout later.
verisimilitude: I've read the layout was supposedly researched well, but haven't read the actual evidence for this.

verisimilitude: I'm reminded of when that TPP was the hot topic, and how it included a segment specifically attacking copyleft in all but name; that was a good example of how the rules simply change when they lose.
verisimilitude: The appearance of law must be maintained, although that rioting shows it needn't be maintained when inconvenient.
verisimilitude: Reading how Gameboy and related boot firmware have been dumped is so fascinating.
verisimilitude: The software appears to work perfectly, having a mechanism to hide itself forever, but the clock can be manipulated to cause the instruction which does this to fail.
verisimilitude: It goes to show how even if drm were proven in software, the hardware approach would just be chosen.
verisimilitude: That reminds me of inducing memory errors in Multics for privilege escalation; I wonder if it's practically impossible to have a secure multi-user system.
verisimilitude: In principle, it's possible, but at this point it's much easier to simply give everyone separate machines, which is basically an existence proof of the security.
