shinohai: Well it seems as if BingoBoingo has formulated a battle plan for Qntra (I just read your blog post).
BingoBoingo: shinohai: Thank you. I really want to hammer along those two lines of attack.
shinohai: Aside from this any ideas on how to accomplish the "Shoving Qntra In People's Newsholes" bit?
snsabot: Logged on 2020-01-25 18:01:15 shinohai: Well I can certainly add Qntra rss feed to my Telegram bot. I'd say at present 75%+ of my personal blog traffic comes because of that.
shinohai: I have a soft spot for Qntra, so don't wanna see it wither on the vine. Besides, what's a Republic without a propaganda arm?
BingoBoingo: Well, I'm planning to do a ton of commenting on out of wot blogs
shinohai: *sigh* ... archive.is appears down yet again.
BingoBoingo: Anyways, my suspicion is that with more contributors we are going to collect more folks wanting to show off their work.
BingoBoingo: There's also the chance some folks who aren't necessarily in a position to contribute writing find themselves feeling sufficiently alligned to add Qntra to their feeds.
shinohai: Well I trust you will ferret out the folks politically aligned to the extent it will increase readership. (I have no idea what stats are in that regard)
BingoBoingo: Well, it's going to be an adventure. Since coming back from the 2017 downtime there was just such a continuous stretch where Qntra couldn't get it's headspace to itself that today's kick feels necessary and good.
shinohai: I like adventures. Imma throw up the white flag and attempt a truce and see where it goes.
BingoBoingo: shinohai: Thank you.
BingoBoingo going to get a bit of fresh air before turning in for the night.
shinohai: I'm sitting out on terrace still drinking coffee. Weather here is so amazing I don't even wanna go back.
BingoBoingo: Well, maybe that's a possibility to explore.

shinohai: Nice, archive.is is finally back up.
shinohai: aaaaand that lasted all of 15 minutes, and down again. Why did archive.is decide to start using Crapflare?
asciilifeform: shinohai: iirc it's been infested w/ it since at least '15
asciilifeform: ( possibly -- even earlier; but that's iirc the 1st time i saw a crapflare eggog emerge from it instead of loaded pg )
shinohai: Funny enough, this is first time I ever had it happen here, first complained about expired SSL cert.
