thimbronion: Modafinil review: Took 100mg (half a tablet) and had a nap-free, productive day. Time seemed to pass a bit more quickly than normal - perhaps it was a bit easier to get into a flow state. It did keep me up a bit later than I would have liked.

thimbronion: It was kind of a weird feeling - I got some of the drive/motivation of caffine w/o the euphoria.
asciilifeform: thimbronion: as w/ all other dopes, the essential thing is to use correctly. it aint a stim in the usual sense (i.e. is not adrenergic) , simply turns off the 'go, sleep' signal. and so,
asciilifeform: thimbronion: 1) dun eat it <8h before bedtime 2) dun eat if in fact 100% slept that night, it'll do ~0 3) dun overuse, will slowly lose effect (see 2) .
