mircea_popescu: (low abstractive value is what's meant, rather than practical value)
Framedragger: or hm. the initial ip address is the gpg user id. the entire gpg *comment* could be discarded. this imo would be clean.
phf: well, i use own rss reader, and the way i solved that problem is by having a handful of general purpose functions that get applied to rss entry before formatting it to output. there's still "specific treatment" but it's kept with the configuration
mircea_popescu: this is how we figure things out you know, otherwise the far edges are really too far for contemplation.
Framedragger: in retrospect, gpg comments were too long.. i've made them shorter for the 'additional' ssh key bundle (last ~3M keys), but that won't be ingested for a while

trinque took out the commas, not necessary.

trinque: would be different if the guy was in my wot.
trinque: looks like there's a geoip pyturd
trinque: I've already got phuctor-related hax in my feeds thing; I don't mind adding a geoip python module to the mix.

shinohai: not yet, still on the list though.
shinohai: Forgive the json brackets, will try to sort that crud out
phf: (in totally unrelated news, if you hover over the xref arrows in the log, the tooltip will show you corresponding entry. not very useful in the back link because the bot quotes, but handy in forward link. wanted to add that feature for a while..)
asciilifeform: not so many of these to date.
asciilifeform: geoestimator thing such as the one kako had would be also neat, but i dun have one handy

BingoBoingo: <asciilifeform> 'I dont want to energize the group. Im not looking to energize them. I dont want to energize the group, and I disavow the group, Trump said ...' << He won that vote. Now has to win December vote still.

mircea_popescu: trinque that's kinda the thing, everyone tends to assume such things because why risk offending friend of lord.
asciilifeform: each d00d sits down at the blinkenlights panel and starts playing with knobs, and notices that they are mostly not connected to anything; and the ones that are, if he starts twiddling, Nice Polite Folx show up and gently tell him that he must stop, or There Will Be Problems.
mircea_popescu: the dispute around that event centers on "alf : he can't win mp: lol of course he will", ain't gonna transmute into an "alf:dun matter that he won".
